Brothers
Torben and Lars Grael on board of TELEMAR to win the Ilhabela
Sailing Week
Ilhabela
(SP) - On board of Telemar, the Grael brothers win the fifth
race to win the most important big boats regatta in Brazil.
The event held in one of the most beautiful spots of Brazil,
the Ilhabela island, had more than 130 boats registered
with more than 1000 sailors. With this result, Teleman finished
first with 6 points. In second place was Telefonica Celular
that won the regatta last year.
The
crew of Telemar, third place in 2000, celebrated the victory:
"It was a great race! We were the first boat to cross
the finish line, winning in the real time as well as in
the corrected time. We had an excellet start, winning the
race since then. The tactics that my brother Torben called
made the difference", said Lars Grael.
Also
sailing with the Grael brothers were Star world champion
Alan Adler, gold medallist Eduardo Penido and Torben's wife
Andrea Grael.
